Grapefruit With Meringue Topping

Ingredients
  Grapefruit 1⁄2 Medium
  Egg white 1 Medium
  Cream of tartar 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Dash
Directions

With a knife, loosen the pulp from grapefruit; discard seeds and tough center membrane.
In a medium bowl beat egg white with cream of tartar and salt until it stands in peaks.
Pile mixture on top of grapefruit.
Place in small foil pan.
Bake at 350°F.
for 10 to 12 minutes or until topping begins to brown.
