Sandwiches Stroganoff

Ingredients
  Chopped onion 1 Tablespoon
  Butter/Margarine 1 Tablespoon
  Canned beef gravy 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs) (1 Can)
  Dairy sour cream 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Cooking sherry 1 Tablespoon
  Monosodium glutamate 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Basil 1 Dash
  Leftover beef roast slice 6
  Toast slice 6
Directions

Cook onion in butter till tender but not brown; stir in gravy, sour cream, sherry, and seasonings.
Add beef slices; heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve over hot toast.
