Swiss Steak With Stewed Tomatoes
|Beef round steak||2 Pound (Cut 1/2-Inch Thick)|
|Salad oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Onion||1 , sliced|
|Canned stewed tomatoes||16 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Parsley flakes||1 Tablespoon|
Sprinkle one side of meat with flour.
Turn meat, sprinkle with flour and pound in.
Cut meat into serving pieces.
Place browning dish in oven.
MICROWAVE 5 MINUTES on HIGH.
Add oil and enough meat pieces to fit bottom without overlapping.
MICROWAVE 2 to 3 MINUTES on HIGH, or until browned, turning meat after 1 minute.
Remove meat to (12x8-inch) baking dish.
Brown any remaining meat.
Spread sliced onions on top of meat.
Pour canned tomatoes over top.
Sprinkle with parsley flakes: Cover with plastic wrap.
MICROWAVE 50 MINUTES on '6', or until meat is fork tender.
Season with salt and pepper before serving.
