1. Start oven, set at Moderate, 325° F. Grease a 1-quart casserole lightly with butter or margarine.
2. Beat the yolks and cream or milk together, combine with the cheese; add seasonings. Whip egg whites stiff and mix with the cheese. Pour at once into the casserole.
3. Bake 25 to 35 minutes, or until firm on top.
