Swiss Fondue Wisconsin
|Dry white wine||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon|
|Wisconsin gruyere cheese||1 Pound, shredded|
|Wisconsin fontina cheese||1 Pound, shredded|
|Ground nutmeg||1 Pinch|
|French bread cubes||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Pears||1 , cut into wedges|
|Apples||1 , cut into wedges|
Bring wine and lemon juice to a boil in fondue pot.
Reduce heat to low.
Toss cheeses with arrowroot.
Gradually add to wine mixture, stirring constantly.
When cheese is completely melted, stir in kirsch.
Sprinkle with nutmeg and serve with French bread cubes, pears and apples.
