|Butter/Margarine||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Chopped fresh mushrooms||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Chopped onion||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Canned liverwurst spread/Liverwurst||24 Ounce|
|Sausage||1 Cup (16 tbs) (adjust quantity as needed)|
|Brandy flavoring||1 Teaspoon|
|Onion powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Peppercorns||1 Teaspoon (for garnish)|
|Pimiento strips||1 Tablespoon (for garnish)|
Melt butter in frying pan.
Add mushrooms and onion.
Saute until onions are clear and soft, and mixture is fairly dry of moisture.
Stir in next 3 ingredients.
Put into bowl.
Remove from bowl.
Shape into football.
Place on tray.
Cover and chill until needed.
Garnish with peppercorns and strips of pimiento to resemble a football.
Serve with crackers.
