Ingredients
  Eggs 2 , beaten
  Whipping cream 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Butter 1 Tablespoon, melted
  Lemon juice 1 Teaspoon
  All purpose flour 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Cardamom 1⁄2 Teaspoon, ground
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cooking oil 1
  Powdered sugar 1
Directions

Mix together eggs, cream, and sugar.
Stir in butter and lemon juice.
Add flour, cardamom, and salt; mix well.
Cover and chill 2 or 3 hours.
Divide dough in half; keep 1 portion refrigerated.
Roll the other portion 1/8 inch thick on lightly floured surface.
Cut into2-inchdiamonds.
Cut a slit in the center of each and pull one corner through.
Repeat with remaining dough.
In skillet that is at least 3 inches deep, pour in 1 1/2 inches oil; heat to 375°.
Fry a few at a time till light golden brown, about 2 minutes, turning once.
Drain on paper toweling.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar while warm.
