Easy Hungarian Chicken
|Sliced carrot||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Noodles||6 3⁄4 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Sauce mix||1 Ounce (1 Packet, Vegetables And Chicken Flavored)|
|Hot water||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Green pepper||1 Small, cut into 1 1/2 x 1/2 inch strips|
|Broiler fryer chicken||3 Pound, cut into 8 pieces, skin removed|
|Canned stewed tomatoes||16 Ounce (1 Can)|
Place carrot in 3-quart casserole.
Microwave at High for 3 minutes.
Stir in noodles and seasoning packet, water and green pepper.
Arrange chicken over noodles.
Sprinkle evenly with paprika.
Pour tomatoes over chicken and noodles.
Microwave at High for 25 to 30 minutes, or until chicken near bone is no longer pink and juices run clear, stirring noodles and rearranging chicken twice.
Let stand, covered, for 5 to 10 minutes.
Serve in shallow bowls.
Top with dairy sour cream, if desired.
