Green Beans With Swiss Cheese Sauce

Ingredients
  Butter 1 Tablespoon, melted
  Flour 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Milk 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Grated onion 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Sour cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Small whole green beans 2 Pound, drained
  Shredded swiss cheese 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Cornflake crumbs 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), combined with 1 tablespoon melted butter
  Melted butter 1 Tablespoon (To Combine With 1 Crumbs)
Directions

In a small pan, blend thoroughly with melted butter the flour, salt, sugar, and pepper; cook, stirring, until bubbly.
Blend in milk.
Remove from heat and stir in onion and sour cream until well mixed.
Combine sauce with green beans and cheese and turn into a buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Spread buttered cornflake crumbs on top.
Bake, uncovered, in hot oven (400°) for about 20 minutes.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
