Broiled Finnan Haddie

Ingredients
  Finnan haddie 2 Pound
  Hot water 2 Cup (32 tbs) (Adjust Quantity As Needed)
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Cover finnan haddie with hot water and let stand 10 minutes.
Drain.
Place on greased broiler rack.
Spread with butter, sprinkle lightly with pepper and broil in preheated broiler under moderate heat until brown, turning once.
Serves 4.
