|Vegetable oil||2 Teaspoon|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
|Vanilla ice cream/Strawberry ice cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sliced strawberries||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
1. Onto sheet of wax paper or a paper plate sift together dry ingredients; set aside.
2. In small mixing bowl combine milk, egg yolk, oil, and vanilla; add sifted ingredients and, using electric mixer, beat until smooth.
3. Spray nonstick waffle iron with nonstick cooking spray and heat. In separate bowl, using clean beaters, beat egg white until stiff but not dry; fold into batter. Pour batter onto waffle iron and cook according to manufacturer's directions.
4. serve waffle with 1/2 cup ice cream and half of the strawberries.
