|Lean bacon slice||6 Ounce, chopped (9 Slices)|
|Onion||1 Small, chopped|
|All purpose flour||1 Tablespoon|
|Beer||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Haverti cheese||8 Ounce, shredded (2 Cups)|
|Samsoe cheese||8 Ounce, shredded (2 Cups)|
Put bacon, onion and butter in a large saucepan and cook until bacon is golden and onion is soft.
Stir in flour.
Gradually add beer and cook until thickened.
Add cheeses and cook, stirring constantly, until melted and the mixture is smooth.
Pour into fondue pot and serve with gherkins and cubes of light rye bread.
