Hungarian Goulash Soup
|Pork/Use all beef / all veal||4 Ounce|
|Onions||2 Large, chopped|
|Tomatoes||2 Large, chopped|
|Paprika pepper||To Taste|
|Stock/Water||1 1⁄2 Pint|
|Potatoes||2 Medium, diced|
|Savory dumplings||1 Cup (16 tbs) (For Garnish)|
Cut the meat into very tiny pieces, and put into a pan with the chopped onion and tomatoes, seasoning including the paprika pepper and stock or water.
Simmer gently for about 1 hour, then add the diced potatoes and continue cooking for a further 25-30 minutes.
If liked, garnish with savoury dumplings.
