Red Apple Crisp Pie
|Baked 9 inch pastry shell||1 (Baked And Cooled)|
|Red cooking apples||4 Cup (64 tbs), unpeeled, grated|
|Granulated sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||2 Tablespoon|
|Ground cinnamon||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon|
|Packed brown sugar||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||3 Tablespoon, cut up|
Prepare pastry shell as directed.
In medium mixing bowl, combine all filling ingredients.
Spoon filling into prepared pastry shell.
Smooth top of filling.
Place pie plate on saucer in microwave oven.
Microwave at 70% (Medium High) for 20 to 25 minutes, or until center is hot, rotating plate twice.
In small mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, flour and salt.
Cut in butter to form fine crumbs.
Sprinkle topping evenly over hot pie.
Place under preheated broiler 2 to 3 inches from heat, until golden brown, about 2 minutes.
