Vanilla Cream Filling For Danish Pastries

Ingredients
  Milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Flour 1 Tablespoon
  Egg yolk 1
  Sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Vanilla extract 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

1. Mix all the ingredients except the vanilla in the top of a double boiler.
2. Cook the mixture over boiling water, stirring constantly, until thick. Cool the mixture, stirring occasionally. Add the vanilla.
