Steak Tartare

  Ground beef 1 Pound
  Onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), finley chopped
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), grated
  Tamari soy sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Egg 1
  Prepared mustard 1 Teaspoon
  Parsley 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped

Mix all ingredients except parsley.
Shape into a mound on a serving platter.
Chill for several hours.
Top with chopped parsley and surround with thin slices of whole grain or pumpernickel bread; or spread on slices of bread and top with chopped parsley.
