Blender Borscht

Ingredients
  Canned whole beets 32 Ounce, drained (2 Can, 16 Ounce Each, Reserve 1/2 Cup Liquid)
  Chicken broth 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Coarsely chopped onion 2 Tablespoon
  Fresh lemon juice 4 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Freshly ground pepper 1 Dash
  Whipped sour cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (For Garnish)
  Minced chives 2 Tablespoon (For Garnish)
Directions

Combine beets and reserved liquid with next 6 ingredients in blender or processor and puree until smooth.
Taste and adjust seasoning.
Transfer to medium bowl.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
