In heavy saucepan, saute bacon until light brown; stir in oil and onion.
Add meat and fry until brown.
Add tomatoes, chili powder, Ground Chocolate, garlic salt, cumin, and pepper; heat to boiling.
Add kidney beans and green pepper.
Simmer, covered, 20 minutes.
Garnish each bowl with grated Cheddar cheese and chopped green pepper, if desired.
Serve with hot corn bread.
