Mustard Flavored Swiss Cheese Fondue
|Shredded natural swiss cheese||8 Ounce (2 Cups)|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), crushed|
|Dry white wine/Chicken broth||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Dijon mustard||1 Teaspoon|
|French bread loaf||1⁄2 Pound, cut into 1 inch cubes (1/2 Loaf, 1 Pound Size)|
1. Toss cheese and cornstarch; reserve. Mix margarine and garlic in 2-quart casserole. Microwave uncovered on high 1 to 2 minutes or until garlic is soft.
2. Stir in wine. Microwave uncovered 2 to 4 minutes or until boiling.
3. Stir in mustard and cheese mixture. Microwave uncovered on medium (50%) 4 to 6 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes, until cheese is melted and smooth. Pour into earthenware fondue dish; keep warm over low heat. Spear bread cubes with fondue forks; dip and swirl in fondue with stirring motion.
