Swedish Glogg Choklad
|Burgundy wine||1⁄5 Cup (3.2 tbs)|
|Ruby port wine||1⁄5 Cup (3.2 tbs)|
|Raisins||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Almonds||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Ground chocolate||2 Tablespoon|
|Orange marmalade||1 Tablespoon|
|Cardamom seeds||10 , peeled|
|Angostura bitters||1 Dash|
In large pot, combine Burgundy, port, raisins, almonds, sugar, Ground Chocolate, cinnamon and marmalade.
Place cloves and cardamom into tea ball; drop into wine mixture.
Simmer, covered, 30 minutes.
Add bitters and brandy.
Glogg may be prepared in advance and reheated for the party.
