Easy Dutch Oven Chicken

Want to cook a lip-smacking meal for that someone special? This Dutch oven chicken recipe would help you make just the impression you desire. Work your way to his heart with a meal fit for a king.
  Whole chicken 1
  Onion 1 , chopped
  Garlic 3 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
  Cayenne pepper 1 Teaspoon (Or To Taste)
  Paprika 1 Teaspoon (Or To Taste)
  Italian seasoning 1 Teaspoon
  Butter cube 1
  Diced tomatoes 1 Can (10 oz)

Take a pan and add a cube of butter. Add the onion and garlic. Stir. Add pepper and salt. Add the chicken. Sprinkle cayenne pepper, Italian seasoning and paprika on both sides of the chicken. Cook. Turn over in between. Cover and cook in the oven at 400 degrees for 45 minutes. Drain the excess juice and add diced tomatoes. Cover and let cook for 45 minutes. Enjoy a delicious meal.

The summary says ready in 35 minutes, but the written instructions say bake 45, drain, bake 45 more. Which is right?

I have that very same dutch oven in the 5 quart size, but it looks too small to me to roast a whole bird. What size dutch oven did you use in this video? 5 quart or 7 quart?
