Beef Irish Stew

Ingredients
  Stewing beef 2 Pound, cut into 1 inch cubes
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Brown gravy mix with mushrooms 1 1⁄4 Ounce (1 Package)
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Celery stalks 3 , cut into 1 inch slices
  Carrots 3 Medium, sliced
  Potatoes 3 Medium, peeled and cut in eighths
Directions

Place beef cubes in 3-quart microproof casserole or baking dish.
Sprinkle with salt.
Stir together gravy mix and water.
Pour over meat.
Cook, covered, on 70 (roast) 50 minutes, stirring once during cooking.
Add vegetables and mix to cover with gravy.
Cook, covered, on 50 (simmer) 40 to 50 minutes, or until vegetables and meat are tender.
Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
