Austrian Honey Nut Bread
|Sifted flour||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Butter||2 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Honey||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Buttermilk/Sour milk||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|White raisins||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Nuts||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), chopped|
Sift the flour, salt and soda together.
Cream the butter and honey in a bowl.
Add the egg and mix.
Add sifted ingredients alternately with the buttermilk.
Stir in the raisins and nuts and pour into a greased loaf pan.
Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour and 40 minutes.
