Vanilla Meringue Kisses

Ingredients
  Egg whites 3
  Granulated sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs), sifted
  Vinegar 1 Teaspoon
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Start beating egg whites slowly, then increase speed and beat until stiff but not dry.
Add sugar gradually, beating constantly.
Add vinegar and vanilla, beat well.
Drop from teaspoon onto baking sheets (covered with smooth unglazed paper) about 1" apart.
Bake in a very slow oven (250° F.) for 20 minutes.
Makes 2 dozen.
