|Tart apples||6 Medium|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), sifted|
Pare and slice apples into a buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Drizzle with water and sprinkle with cinnamon and salt.
Rub remaining ingredients together and crumble over the top.
Bake at 350F for 40 to 50 minutes or until apples are tender.
