Swedish With Meringue

Ingredients
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Melted butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Egg yolks 4
  Milk 5 Tablespoon
  Flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Egg whites 4 (MERINGUE)
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs) (MERINGUE)
  Nuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (MERINGUE)
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon (MERINGUE)
  Whipped cream 1 Tablespoon, sweetened (FILLING & DECORATION)
  Strawberries 1 Can (10 oz) (FILLING & DECORATION)
Directions

In a bowl mix all the cake ingredients.Once the ingredients are thoroughly mixed,spread it out on a pan.In a separate bowl beat egg white until stiff,to this add sugar & vanilla,mix all with a cake spoon.Spread this egg mix over the cake batter & sprinkle nuts over it.Bake it for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.Once done,take it out & let it stand for some time.Slit the cake into two halves from the middle,spread cream in between the two layers & also cover the cake completely with whipped cream. On top of the cake place strawberries over for decoration.
