Portuguese Caldo Verde

Ingredients
  Italian sausage 4 Ounce (In Casing)
  Potatoes 3 Medium, peeled and sliced
  Spinach/1 package, 10 ounce frozen chopped spinach 1⁄2 Pound, chopped
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), minced
Directions

Slice Italian sausage 1/4 inch thick.
In large saucepan cook sausage till browned.
Drain off excess fat.
Add sliced potatoes, spinach, garlic, 3 cups water, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.
Bring to boiling; cover and simmer till potatoes are tender, about 20 minutes.
