|Sifted powdered sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||1 Cup (16 tbs), softened|
|Hard cooked egg yolks||1 , sieved|
|Raw egg yolk||1|
|All purpose flour||2 1⁄4 Cup (36 tbs)|
Cream powdered sugar and butter.
Add sieved yolk, the raw yolk, and vanilla.
Stir in flour.
Work with a small amount of dough at a time, keeping rest well chilled.
Break off walnut-sized pieces of dough.
Roll rope about 6 inches in length.
Shape in wreath overlapping about 1 inch from ends.
Place on un-greased cookie sheet.
Brush with slightly beaten egg white.
Bake in 350° oven for 12 minutes.
