Crisp Fried Clams With Spinach Tartar Sauce In Pita Pockets

Ingredients
  Shredded spinach leaves 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs) (Well Washed Leaves)
  Mayonnaise 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Finely chopped sweet pickle 2 Tablespoon
  Drained bottled capers 2 Tablespoon
  Dijon style mustard 2 Teaspoon
  Fresh lemon juice 2 Teaspoon
  Soft shelled steamer clams 24
Directions

In a small bowl combine well the spinach leaves, the mayonnaise, the pickle, the capers, the mustard, the lemon juice, and salt and black pepper to taste and chill the tartar sauce, covered.
