|Cream cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Capers||1 Tablespoon, rinsed well|
|Dijon mustard||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Snipped fresh chives||1 Tablespoon|
|Garlic powder||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Cayenne pepper||1 Dash|
Process all ingredients in a blender or the work bowl of a food processor fitted with a metal blade for 10 seconds.
Transfer to a glass bowl, cover and refrigerate to allow flavors to blend.
Serve with fresh vegetables or cholesterol-free, low-saturated-fat and low-sodium crackers.
add 1/4 teaspoon anchovy paste to above mixture before processing.
