Salzburg Nockerl

  Eggs 4 Large, separated
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  All purpose flour 4 Teaspoon
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Semisweet chocolate 2 Ounce, grated

In a large bowl, beat egg whites with an electric mixer on high speed until they hold stiff peaks.
Gradually add sugar, beating constantly; continue to beat until whites hold very stiff peaks.
Set whites aside.
Place egg yolks in a small bowl.
Using the same beaters, beat yolks on high speed until very light colored and slightly thickened.
Gradually beat in flour.
Fold yolks into whites, blending evenly (don't worry if a few streaks of whites remain).
While you are folding together yolks and whites, melt butter in a shallow 7- by 11-inch baking pan over medium heat until bubbly.
Spoon mounds of egg mixture into pan; then bake in a 350° oven until top is tinged with brown, 7 to 10 minutes.
