Pavlova With Fruits
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
|White vinegar||1 Teaspoon|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Frozen whipped topping||8 Ounce, thawed (1 Carton)|
|Sliced fresh strawberries||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Cubed pineapple||2 Cup (32 tbs) (Fresh Ones)|
|Kiwifruit||2 Medium, peeled and sliced|
Place egg whites in a large mixing bowl; let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes.
Beat until foamy.
Add vanilla and vinegar; beat until soft peaks form.
Gradually beat in the sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, on high until stiff glossy peaks form and the sugar is dissolved.
Spoon the meringue onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
Using the back of a spoon, shape into a 9-in. circle.
Bake at 225 degrees for 4555 minutes or until set and dry.
Turn the oven off and do not open door.
Let meringue dry in oven for 1 hour.
Just before serving, top the meringue with whipped topping and fresh fruit.
