Ukrainian Potato Babka

Ingredients
  Potatoes 3 , peeled and halved
  Cream-style cottage cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
  Egg yolks 2
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  White pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Egg whites 2
Directions

Cook potatoes, covered, in boiling Salted water till tender, about 20 minutes; drain.
In mixing bowl mash hot potatoes with cottage cheese and butter.
Add egg yolks, salt, and pepper; beat till fluffy.
Season to taste.
Beat egg whites till stiff peaks form; fold into potato mixture.
Spoon into greased 1-quart casserole or souffle dish.
Bake at 375° till puffed and golden, 30 to 35 minutes.
