Chocolate Meringue Pie
|Skim milk||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Sugar/1 cup sugar plus 6 packets sweet 'n low||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Cocoa||3 Tablespoon (Rounded)|
|Liquid butter buds||1 Tablespoon|
|Sugar/2 tablespoon sugar plus 3 packets sweet 'n low||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Combine ingredients except Butter Buds and vanilla and cook in double boiler until thick.
Remove from heat and stir in Butter Buds and vanilla.
Pour into baked pastry pie crust.
For Meringue: Beat egg whites until stiff, adding sugar gradually, and vanilla.
Cover filling with meringue and cook at 350° F until slightly brown (about 7-9 minutes).
