Budget Beef Stroganoff
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Canned mushroom pieces||4 Ounce, drained (1 Can)|
|Onion||1 Medium, chopped|
|Ground beef||1 Pound|
|Garlic powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Condensed cream of chicken soup||10 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Dry red wine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sour cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Melt butter in blazer pan of Oster Electric Chafing Dish at high.
Saute mush-rooms and onions; add meat and cook, stirring constantly.
Add seasonings and soup, stirring to mix.
Heat until bubbly.
Mix cornstarch and wine, add to meat mixture, stirring until thickened.
Place over hot water bath at medium setting.
Fold in sour cream.
