Dutch Meat Loaf
|Lean ground beef||1 1⁄2 Pound|
|Fresh bread crumbs||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Onion||1 Medium, chopped|
|Canned tomato sauce||8 Ounce (One Hunt's Can)|
|Salt||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Water||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||2 Tablespoon, packed|
|Prepared mustard||2 Tablespoon|
In medium bowl, lightly mix beef, bread crumbs, onion, 1/2 can Hunt's Tomato Sauce, egg, salt and pepper.
Shape into loaf in shallow baking pan.
Combine remaining Hunt's Sauce with rest of ingredients; pour over loaf.
Bake at 350°F.
1 1/4 hours.
Baste loaf several times.
