Polish Sausage Krauters
|Polish sausage/Large frankfurters||8|
|Canned sauerkraut||8 Ounce, drained and snipped (1 Can)|
|Chili sauce||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Finely chopped onion||2 Tablespoon|
|Caraway seed||1 Teaspoon|
Partially cook bacon.
Drain; set aside.
Slit sausages or frankfurters lengthwise, cutting almost to ends and only 3/4 of the way through.
Combine sauerkraut, chili sauce, onion, sugar, and caraway seed.
Stuff about 2 tablespoons of the mixture into slit of each sausage or frankfurter.
Wrap each with a strip of bacon; secure with wooden picks.
Grill over hot coals for 10 to 12 minutes, turning frequently so bacon cooks crisp on all sides.
