|Round steak||2 Pound (1 Inch Thick)|
|Pepper||1 1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Onions||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), finely chopped|
|Celery||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), finely chopped|
|Green pepper||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), finely chopped|
|Canned tomatoes||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Combine flour and seasoning and pound mixture thoroughly into both sides of beef.
Cut into serving pieces.
Heat skillet and add fat.
Brown steaks well.
Mix vegetables and place over meat.
Cook over low heat 1-1 1/2 hours until tender.
Thicken remaining sauce for gravy.
