Sweet And Sour Swiss Chard

Ingredients
  Swiss chard 1 Pound, rinsed and patted dry
  Olive oil 2 Teaspoon
  Yellow onion 1 Medium, quartered and sliced
  Raisins 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), minced
  Cider vinegar/White vinegar 3 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Black pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

Slice the Swiss chard leaves into 1 -inch strips and set aside.
Slice the stems diagonally 3/4 inch long.
In a medium-size skillet, heat the oil over moderate heat.
Add the onion and cook, covered, for 5 minutes or until softened.
Add the Swiss chard stems, raisins, garlic, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper and cook, covered, for 8 minutes.
Place the leaves on top of the mixture (do not stir in), cover, and cook for 2 minutes.
Remove from the heat and stir.
