Beef Roulade In Mushroom Sauce
|Round steak||4 Pound, thinly sliced|
|Prepared packaged herb seasoned stuffing mix||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Shortening||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Condensed cream of mushroom soup||21 Ounce (2 Can)|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Cut steak into 16 long pieces; pound with meat hammer.
Place 1/4 cup stuffing on each piece of steak; roll up; fasten with toothpicks.
In large skillet, brown in shortening; pour off fat.
Stir in soup, water.
Cover; simmer 1 1/2 hours or until tender.
Uncover; cook until desired consistency.
