Episode #29 Kook'n For Kidneys Part 1

I have many friends and associates that have Kidney Disease. If you don't know anyone with Kidney Disease, they have a restrictive diet. Unfortunately without creative ways of preparing the limited menu there food options get boring. Therefore, a chef friend of mine, who herself suffers from Kidney Disease got to together and made this episode featuring several recipes for folks with Kidney Disease.
Ingredients
For sorbetto
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Splenda 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Strawberry preserve 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Lemon juice 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

MAKING
For sorbetto
1. In a saucepan heat water and splenda together and bring to boil.
2. Turn off the heat and add in lemon juice and strawberry preserve.
3. Allow to cool, transfer the splenda mixture into a freezer container, put then container in automatic freezer and allow to freeze.

SERVING
4. Serve chilled.
