Best Beef Stroganoff
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Onions||4 Medium, thinly sliced|
|Dry mustard||1 Tablespoon|
|Canned mushroom stems and pieces||8 Ounce, drained (2 Cans, 4 Ounce Each)|
|Boneless beef round steak||2 1⁄4 Pound, cut into thin strips|
|Sour cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Hot buttered noodles||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
1. Combine butter, onion, dry mustard, sugar, salt and pepper in 3-quart glass casserole. Cover with glass lid or plastic wrap.
2. Microwave on ROAST for about 6 minutes or until onion is partly cooked. Stir in beef; recover.
3. Microwave on HIGH for about 16 minutes or until no longer pink. Stir in mushrooms; recover.
4. Microwave on SIMMER for 20 minutes. Mix in sour cream recover, and continue cooking on SIMMER for 4 to 5 minutes or until heated through.
