Best Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Onions 4 Medium, thinly sliced
  Dry mustard 1 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1 Teaspoon
  Canned mushroom stems and pieces 8 Ounce, drained (2 Cans, 4 Ounce Each)
  Boneless beef round steak 2 1⁄4 Pound, cut into thin strips
  Sour cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Hot buttered noodles 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

1. Combine butter, onion, dry mustard, sugar, salt and pepper in 3-quart glass casserole. Cover with glass lid or plastic wrap.
2. Microwave on ROAST for about 6 minutes or until onion is partly cooked. Stir in beef; recover.
3. Microwave on HIGH for about 16 minutes or until no longer pink. Stir in mushrooms; recover.
4. Microwave on SIMMER for 20 minutes. Mix in sour cream recover, and continue cooking on SIMMER for 4 to 5 minutes or until heated through.
