Microwave Beef Stroganoff
|Salt||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Sirloin steak||1 Pound, thinly sliced diagonally across grain|
|Salad oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Minced onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Minced garlic||1 Clove (5 gm)|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Canned mushroom soup||10 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Fresh sliced mushrooms||8|
|Dairy sour cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Mix flour, salt and pepper; dredge meat in mixture.
Pound mixture into both sides of meat.
In 9" glass baking dish, heat oil (high) one minute.
Microwave (high) 3-4 minutes stirring frequently to brown meat.
Add onion and garlic.
Microwave (high) 2-3 minutes.
Stir in water, soup, and mushrooms.
Microwave (high) 4-5 minutes, covered, stirring twice.
Test beef for tenderness.
Slowly blend in sour cream; heat (high) 1 minute.
