Creamy Swiss Steak
|Round steak||2 Pound|
|Onion||1 Small, sliced|
|Cream of mushroom soup/Cream / celery soup||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Water/Broth / dry white california wine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Steak sauce||1 Tablespoon|
Cut meat into serving portions.
Season the meat with salt and pepper, and dust with flour.
Heat a little oil in a skillet, and brown meat on both sides.
Remove meat from skillet, and brown onion a minute or so.
Alternate meat and onion in the crock cooker.
Mix remaining ingredients and pour them over the meat.
Cover and cook for 6 to 8 hours.
