Easy Apple Crisp
|Sliced baking apples||11 Cup (176 tbs) (Peeled)|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Ground cinnamon||1 Teaspoon (Divided)|
|All purpose flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Packed brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Quick cooking oats||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Ground nutmeg||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Place apples in a greased 13-in.x 9-in.x 2-in.baking dish.
Combine sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon; sprinkle over apples.
Combine flour, brown sugar, oats, baking powder, nutmeg and remaining cinnamon; cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Sprinkle over the apples.
Bake at 375° for 50-60 minutes or until apples are tender.
