Hungarian Beef Goulash
|Boneless beef||2 Pound, cut in 1 inch cubes|
|Oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Coarsely chopped onion||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Salt||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Chopped green pepper||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Tomatoes||3 , peeled and chopped|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Brown beef in hot oil in casserole.
Add onion and continue cooking until onion is lightly browned.
Add salt, paprika and green pepper and continue cooking until pepper is tender.
Add tomatoes and water.
Cover and cook in a 300° F.oven for 2 hours or until beef is tender.
