Brown Sugar Oat Cookies
|Brown sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs), packed|
|Oatmeal/Old-fashioned rolled oats||2 Cup (32 tbs) (uncooked)|
Melt the butter in a saucepan.
Remove from the heat and stir in the brown sugar, salt, and oatmeal.
Beat the egg slightly with the vanilla; blend in.
Drop the mixture by level measuring teaspoonfuls onto a well-greased cookie sheet.
Bake in a 350° oven for 5 to 7 minutes, or until golden brown.
Allow the cookies to remain on the cookie sheet until they set and can be removed easily.
Cool on racks
