Nana shares an easy Apple Crisp Recipe. This delicious recipe is made with Golden Delicious Apples and a touch of lemon zest which gives the Apple Crisp a delightful addition. It is fall and the smell of Apple crisp will fill your house with a delightful flavor. Give it a try.
Ingredients
  Golden apples 7
  Sugar 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Oats 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Butter 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
  Lemon zest 1 Teaspoon
  Brown sugar 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
Directions

Cut 1 cup butter and flour until it form small pieces. Add brown sugar and cut.
Add oats and and keep cutting. Add the cinnamon.
Grate the lemon to take out the zest.
Peel and cut apples. Soak them in water with a few drops of lemon juice.
Slice the apples.
Take the sliced apples in a large baking dish. Sprinkle the lemon zest all over the sliced apples.
If you like more cinnamon, you can sprinkle some more over the apples.
Now add the crunch that is the mixture of oats, flour, butter and brown sugar.
Keep the dish in the oven at 350 and bake for about 35-45 minutes.
Let the dish cook down and serve with vanilla ice-cream.
