Make this Butter Braised Belgian Endive exactly as posted and you have a great dish ready at your table. Butter Braised Belgian Endive turned out to be much more great than I expected. Utterly butterly delicious!
Ingredients
  Heads of belgian endive 6 Large
  Butter/Margarine 6 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

1. Cut each endive head lengthwise in half. In 12-inch skillet over medium-low heat, melt butter or margarine with sugar and salt.
2. Arrange endive in skillet in 1 layer. Cover and cook 15 to 20 minutes, until tender and lightly browned, turning endive occasionally.
