Three In A Pan
|Self rising flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Lukewarm milk||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Currants||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), mixed|
|Raisins||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), mixed|
|Powdered sugar||1 Tablespoon|
Combine the flour and salt in a bowl.
Make a well in the center.
Drop in the egg and pour in 1 cup lukewarm milk.
Blend well into a smooth batter.
Add the remaining milk and the currants and raisins.
Heat the butter or oil in a heavy frying pan until very hot.
Pour batter for 3 pancakes into the hot fat and fry them, 3 at a time, on both sides until golden brown.
